Here is your Airship and Toggle Unwrapped 🎉

Our 2021, much like everyone else's, was chaos; filled with more unexpected twists & turns than we care to recall.  Towards the end, it felt like the entire sector, operators & suppliers, were sprinting just to stay afloat ⛵ - so we’re very happy to be starting a new year (and the more distance between us and the car crash that was 2020, the better.)

However… there were many more highs, than lows. Looking back, we might have a few more war stories to share, but we’re stronger than ever & couldn’t be prouder of what our team achieved. 😀

Our team grew by 13 (now at 31). This was supported by a further round of investment from Mercia Asset Management PLC, meaning that we in turn could pull out all the stops to support hospitality through the pandemic and help hospitality operators of all sizes to open new revenue streams & drive customer loyalty. 🙌

Let's take a look back at Airship and Toggle’s 2021:

🔵 We welcomed over 300 new customers, 106 new on Airship and 221 new Togglers.

🔵 We went live with over 20 new integrations into  other hospitality tech suppliers - creating some truly magical new functionality across both platforms, and putting even more power into the fingertips of marketing & ops teams.

🔵 Airship users broadcast over 100m emails through automated campaigns, triggered & personalised based on their customers behaviour, preferences and profile.

🔵 Toggle saw over £15m in transactions. A combination of  £9.8 million in sales, straight into operators bank accounts, and £5 million in FOC gift cards raised - rewarding, incentivising, or apologising to customers - and driving desired behaviours

🔵 We won no less than 7 (SEVEN!!) national business awards, filmed our biggest ever marketing campaign (breaking at least one bone in Santa’s hand), probably all caught covid at some point, and even managed to get Chico as an (un)official brand ambassador.

What a year - you guys truly pushed our platforms further than ever before! We have seen Airship help pubs, bars, restaurants, and hotels to drive loyalty and revenue across two years of a pandemic, alongside the launch of our brand new email builder. Toggle went through huge developments also, stepping up to cover all aspects of ‘Hospitality Commerce’; allowing you to sell everything from digital cards to physical gift cards, merchandise to hampers, retail to experiences.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for all of your trust & support - we absolutely love being 100% hospitality-focused. We can’t wait to see what 2022 has in store, and online, and for delivery. 🎉
