Novus Leisure Limited operate over 40 premium bars, restaurants and nightclubs in London and across the UK, with famous venues including Tiger Tiger, Foundation Bar, Jewel St Paul's, Amber, Opal, Grace, Jewel Bar and Zoo.

Novus Leisure had a problem. With over 40 venues all running their own customer sign-up and survey systems, data was becoming hard to keep track of.

Novus Leisure had a problem. With over 40 venues all running their own customer sign-up and survey systems, data was becoming hard to keep track of.

Most venues were using web based forms to gather customer’s details. Web based forms are great until you’re in the WiFi dead-spot next to the dance floor.

casting off the online chains

Our solution was to build a native iPad data collection app that would work both online and offline. This meant that any data collected was stored on the device and then synchronised up to a central server when back online.

making it unique

Each Novus venue is unique, so one skin for the app just wasn’t going to cut it. We enabled each venue to customise the look and feel of their app by pushing artwork down to the iPad from our central database.

In addition to the design, new form questions and fields could quickly be rolled out to each venue from a central web-based control panel.

valuable data

Within days Novus venues were recruiting over 200 new customers to their databases every night. With all data flowing directly into Airship’s powerful CRM platform, venues were immediately able to use the data to welcome their new customers with a content-rich welcome email.
