January Pinch Punch

Dry Jan? Finished. Our reward? The pub! We had a brilliant start to 2023. Fasten your seat belts… here is our month of January: 

• Even though the Christmas rush was over we still saw £3.4m in Toggle sales in January. Almost as impressively, we saw £3.2m in Toggle gift cards redeemed in Jan, with customers spending on average 55% more than the value on the card when they visit. 

• We welcomed 15 new hospitality brands to Airship & Toggle. Including Benugo, Smashing Plates, Madd Egg, Mama Roux, The Cairn Group, Bone Daddies & Shack-Fuyu, Pear Hospitality, The Cairn Group, King Pins, Ugly Dumpling and many more!

• We also saw 18 groups going live including (brace yourselves) Chopstix, Purezza, Adventure Bar Group, Dining 6, Bone Daddies, The Good Egg, and a whole bunch more!

• Our Airshippers sent out 48 million emails, and achieved a 39% click to conversion (no doubt driven by all the great January promotions they did!) Well done all for smashing the toughest month of the year.

• We had a 7.86% average conversion rate on our Toggle webshops which is, quite frankly, madness for the month of Jan! 

• We had two wonderful new starters in our development team: IRIS SMIT & ELLA MUIR. We are really enjoying expanding our teams with wonderful new additions, such as these two (our brand new junior developers!). We also have several new additions to our CS & Partnership teams next month… Watch this space

• WE ATTENDED RMI 2023! The RMI is one of our favourite yearly events. It’s full of friendly faces and this year, we did something a little special for it. We took our own medals and gave out our own awards, which yes, may have been hijacking the event a little… but it was certainly a lot of fun! Big shouts to everyone we saw over the three days! Here’s to more events in 2023 :)

• 1 new partner last month! We are now integrated with Service Monitor! Keep an eye out soon for a special shout out post for this!

• Airship Teams was released this month! We’ve been working to bring a booster that will turn your marketing CRM into an internal team CRM. Use their location, job role,  anniversary date (and more),to send out comms using email or SMS so that you can engage with them at the click of a button! February is here! And so is something super special. Sometime soon our first campaign of the year will be out in the wild. It’s a blast from the past, and it’s all about supporting operators in the toughest months! So keep your eyes peeled…
