Sunday x Airship: every order now builds a guest profile automatically

Big news if you're running Sunday App in your venue: it's now fully connected to Airship.

Every order placed through Sunday now flows straight into your Airship database automatically, every day. Nothing to export, nothing to upload, it's already done.

What changes for you

Previously, orders placed through Sunday App lived in Sunday. Useful for the transaction, invisible to everything else. No purchase history against the guest, no proof they'd been in, no way to bring them into a campaign.

Now, every Sunday order updates a real contact profile in Airship: email, mobile number, venue, order type, and full basket detail including product, quantity, value. That guest is no longer a transaction in someone else's system. They're part of your CRM, alongside everyone else you know.

It also counts as proof of presence, so those guests contribute properly to loyalty and lifecycle activity, not just Sunday's own reporting.

Why it matters

However a guest pays, whether by card, till or app, they will now show up as one person in Airship, not three fragments across three systems.

Practically, that means:

• No manual work. No CSV exports, no chasing reports, no lag while someone remembers to upload last week's orders.

• Cleaner segmentation. Contacts land in an Order - {product type} group automatically, so you can target Sunday guests specifically, or fold them straight into your existing lifecycle campaigns.

• Consent handled properly. Existing contacts are updated under protective consent rules, so the connector won't quietly change someone's marketing permissions behind your back.
