Airship’s Flight Report - July 2026

Airship’s Flight Report - July 2026

July gave us plenty to talk about. The launch of a game changing tool, a new integration, the team out across the industry and new faces who have joined the company. Here is what the last month looked like at Airship.

Ask Airship is here

This month marks one of the biggest launches in Airship's history: Ask Airship.

For years, hospitality businesses have been collecting vast amounts of guest data, but turning that data into clear, actionable answers has remained frustratingly slow, technical and out of reach for most teams. Ask Airship changes that.

Every operator has questions they wish they could answer with confidence. Now they can simply ask them, and receive an answer in minutes backed by their own guest data.

For the first time, hospitality marketers can uncover the opportunities hidden inside their data, understand their guests in far greater detail, and prove exactly how their marketing influences visits, loyalty and spend. No reports to build. No spreadsheets to export. No data team to wait on!

To help everyone get started, we also launched our Prompt Library: a curated collection of proven prompts designed to help you uncover insights, answer common marketing questions and get immediate value from every Ask Airship session.

For a closer look, our latest blog walks through six real questions you can asky our guest data, from what your top 10% of customers are worth, to which guests are quietly slipping away: Your top guests are already telling you where the revenue is. Are you asking?

Sunday App now connects straight to Airship

Ask Airship wasn't the only launch this July. We also announced our hotly anticipated integration with Sunday App.

Every order placed through Sunday now flows straight into your Airship database automatically, every day. Nothing to export, nothing to upload, it's already done. And rather than sitting in a separate system, each order updates a real contact profile in Airship, so that guest is no longer a transaction in someone else's system. They're part of your CRM, alongside everyone else you know.

Team Airship out in the industry

July also took us out into the industry.

We were at Propel's Operational Excellence in Pub & Bar Retailing, where our CEO Dan Brookman gave a first look at an exciting new feature we are developing, Lookout by Airship. Lookout enables front of house teams to recognise the guests dining with them, understand each customer's relationship with the brand, look up available rewards or gift vouchers and a whole lot more.

Our Head of Sales, Amy Mellors, joined the guest panel for SetMenu's How to Sleigh Christmas webinar, sharing her thinking on getting ahead of the festive season. Sitting on the panel alongside operators from Grind and Cabana, she shared how venues can make the most of the festive rush, turning all that fresh guest data into loyal regulars who come back long after the decorations come down.

And our CTO, Oskar Smith, wrote a piece on why Ask Airship answers the questions that operators have been asking for years. It was well received and picked up by KAM's informants. You can read it here: Hospitality was never short of data. It was short of proof.

New faces at Airship

The team grew this month, with six new colleagues joining us across July, each strengthening a different corner of the business.

Abigail Hammond comes in as our Partnerships Lead, ready to build the relationships that open new doors for Airship and the operators we work with. On the commercial side, Shaun Goodwin joins as a Strategic Account Manager and Josef Crane as a Commercial Account Manager, both focused on helping our customers get more out of our platform.

Helping our customers get the very best from Airship are James McCarthy in Technical Success and Alfie Gray as a Support Executive, making sure every interaction with the platform is smooth, straightforward and supported. Behind the scenes, Kinga Nemeth also joins us as a Finance Assistant, helping keep everything running seamlessly.

It is a brilliant group to welcome on board, we can’t wait to see what we’ll achieve together.

A Day Together

July brought most of the team together for our Company Day. The morning was all substance: a business update, where we're heading in Q3, and a proper look at the roadmap. Then, in true hospitality fashion, we rounded things off with dinner and a few drinks at Cosy Club in Sheffield. Huge thanks to Ollie and Emily there for looking after us so well.

July set the pace, but we are not stopping there. Here's to another month of big launches, bold ideas and helping hospitality marketers do even more.
