True happiness is an integrated data ecosystem
OK, so maybe that’s going a little far... There’s a bunch of other things that would make me happier. Like a vaccine. Airship, the hospitality technology specialist, this week saw another milestone for its Track & Trace solution, Trck.to, as customer check-ins from 6,000 locations topped one million nationwide.

Track and Trace is back!
So it appears that track and trace will be part of the government guidance for re-opening. I'm very disappointed, hospitality poured there collective heart into reopening in July 2020, complying with UK Gov requests and guidance to create some of the safest spaces in the UK. Track & Trace - Doing the right thing and driving new data.

Last week the government announced that it will be mandatory for hospitality businesses to register their customers’ information from Friday 18 September. Since early July, the official Covid-secure guidance for restaurants and bars has been recommendatory and this has had mixed results, with UK Hospitality pushing for operators to do a better job. It was, once again, a case of the government simply not going far enough in the first place, despite knowing that their guidance was likely to fail.
